The village area, a 27 acre piece of land managed my the NPS, is laden with historic buildings and artifacts. The area, once settled as a cottage community, is now preserved by the help of the National Park Service. The homes there receive new roofs, reinforcements, and facelifts to preserve a sense of history. | |
