NMI > South Cherry Orchard

Along the trail to the southern end of the island is the south cherry orchard. It was once a flourishing grove of cherry trees and is now dotted with these trees. The overhead area is open from the foliage of the trees, and is very nice on a summer's day. Many spots to make camp can be found along the southern trail, especially in this area since the trail is still close to the lake.
