Bennon's Place is on the way to Lake Manitou, only 2.4 miles from the dock. The area is thickly overgrown with a brier patch and thorn bushes, making it an unpleasant place to camp. There are usually fresh raspberries along the trail right before the sign, which can be a delightful treat.
